Description
Modular and multifunctional tree in bamboo. 1 trunk, 3 legs, 24 branches of varying length. The tree is delivered flat-packed and unassembled.
The product is a handmade natural material, which is why variations may occur. Adjustments may be necessary within different temperatures and humidity conditions. Legs can be glued with regular wood glue for increased stability over time. No screws or other metal parts are used for assembly, and no tools are needed for assembly or disassembly. Variations in moisture can bind branches more firmly to the trunk if these are mounted in very dry conditions.

Why bamboo?
Trees and plants are essential for our existence on Earth, as they help convert CO2 into oxygen. Bamboo is not a tree but a species of grass, even though we talk about bamboo forests. Bamboo is an amazing plant and, like ours, grows very quickly and is part of a rapid carbon turnover.
Bamboo is very strong, especially the type we use (Dendrocalamus Strictus), which is almost massive and reaches a harvestable size in just 3 years. Bamboo can grow up to 4 cm per hour and is used for a wide range of purposes. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials on Earth.
How is the bamboo tree produced?
The Bamboo X-Mas family tree is a Danish design, handmade by our partner, the Bamboo Master factory in Vietnam. Bamboo Master is a family-owned factory that lives up to the highest standards in terms of craftsmanship as well as ecological and social responsibility.
We have sought to make a product with the lowest possible carbon footprint, which minimizes transport and uses locally sourced materials from Bamboo Master’s own plantation. The product is packed very compactly, which minimizes the carbon footprint from shipping. We are chasing the most carbon-neutral shipping and delivery methods and look forward to greener technological solutions on the way.
